Espen Steelers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hassan Schürch in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Ştefan Lupea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Skrwa Sikórz got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Niemojewski. In the 47th minute Bryan Papa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ştefan Lupea to make the kick off. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Espen Steelers's Kurt Wüthrich was substituted for Andy Schmid.
