Spectators: 552 (Terracing: 415, Seating: 127, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Piscopo started the match with the kick off. Alberto Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Mike Stivala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Carlos Goyer made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's zone, Kurt Bonavia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Goyer came out of the goal and Kurt Bonavia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Terribile to maneuver through the defense. Floriana Celtics's Tyron Tufignio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Tono in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's Edward Ellis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Goyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Tono in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyron Tufignio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's zone, Mike Stivala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Goyer came out of the goal and Mike Stivala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Tono in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyron Tufignio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floriana Celtics's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Epifanio Cristos was slow to take the kick. During this time Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Krzysztof Walczyk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Mike Stivala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Mike Stivala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Goyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyron Tufignio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Cristos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Floriana Celtics's goalie and right to Saul Ostots. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Floriana Celtics's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Tono to make the kick off. Tyron Tufignio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Tono in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, David Terribile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Epifanio Cristos came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Cristos couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. Tyron Tufignio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Tono in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Stivala came free, but Carlos Goyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miguel Piscopo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Goyer was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Mike Stivala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Goyer having to make a save. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ made a substitution. Gabriel-Omar Lucifer replaced Severo Tono. With a little luck, Floriana Celtics's Tyron Tufignio got control of the ball when Gabriel-Omar Lucifer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Leguizamon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Piscopo in the 72nd minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Carlos Goyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Mike Stivala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Goyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Stivala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Mota came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tyron Tufignio could save by the left post. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floriana Celtics's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 87th minute, Gabriel-Omar Lucifer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Tyron Tufignio managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gabriel-Omar Lucifer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 0-0. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Lucifer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyron Tufignio was relentless in the 99th minute of the game.
