Jan Puchlik's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Raflewski in the 80th minute of the match. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomil Mocko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Raflewski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 3-4 became the score in the 89th minute when Herbert Raflewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The MKS Polonia Słubice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
