In the 5th minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. Egon Ahlbom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Mellin in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of France booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valter Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valter Mellin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheetah Team. Dick Forssell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Egon Ahlbom hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 28th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, one of Cheetah Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cheetah Team. Claes Caspersson had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping David Barbier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Claes Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Quentin Beaux hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Oskar Pettersson scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claes Caspersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camille Baume in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Valter Mellin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Valter Mellin put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. The throw-in from Tom Holmstedt in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. David Barbier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Camille Baume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Caspersson was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Mellin's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Pettersson in the 73rd minute of play. Egon Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Remy Dupuy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Pål Bratt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 83rd minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Tom Holmstedt made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Cheetah Team from getting a goal against them.
