Armin Lütke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Armin Lütke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub, 2-0. The referee ignored KFC Hansa's protests and gave Oliver Scholl a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KFC Hansa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Oliver Scholl hit a great ball. The supporters of KFC Hansa booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KFC Hansa fully deserved thier win.
