France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chiquinho Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alberto Freire made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gil dos Santos. Chiquinho Neto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Neto in the 53rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Neto in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafinha Sergipano lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Charles Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Isaltino Tande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxime Durand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF reached it. The supporters of France booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the France players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
