Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Carballeira in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Memphis Grizzlies's Vinicio Carballeira in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Vinicio Carballeira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Vinicio Carballeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 2-0. In the 25th minute Vinicio Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Carballeira got free with Tommy Kahn in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Carballeira in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's Vinicio Carballeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Donald Fenwick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Frank Sachs took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Donald Fenwick to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Vinicio Carballeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Vinicio Carballeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Ty Hislop replaced Ian Prutton. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ty Hislop's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. With a little luck, Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germany's Janik Vogt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jim Mannell in the 77 minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Stuart Banks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Stuart Banks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Stuart Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Memphis Grizzlies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronny Theobold in the 92nd minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Banks in the 95th minute of play. Memphis Grizzlies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
