The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of AFC Nirosxn 08:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Italy:s goal. After a rather tough play, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a free kick in the 10th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 哥伦布 Tiger in the 21st minute of the match. Flavio Vittori had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when 哥伦布 Tiger from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 哥伦布 Tiger in the 24th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, 哥伦布 Tiger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and 哥伦布 Tiger tried to chip the ball over his head. The Mugurel Slătineanu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Slătineanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 哥伦布 Tiger in the 46th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute 哥伦布 Tiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

AFC Nirosxn 08's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 58 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Mugurel Slătineanu. 63 minutes into the match, 哥伦布 Tiger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 哥伦布 Tiger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Italy were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after AFC Nirosxn 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Atanasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Mugurel Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, 哥伦布 Tiger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Ionică Savu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Slătineanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Mugurel Slătineanu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Eugen Zâncă in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. 96 minutes into the match, Adriano Curto notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu. Mugurel Slătineanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, AFC Nirosxn 08 could leave the field as winners, despite Italy having more of the ball for most of the match.
