Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Mugg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Doctor Mugg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xentrias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Doctor Mugg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Theo Fil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Theo Fil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Xentrias made a substitution. Christer Peterson replaced Albert Rudberg. In the 56th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Theo Fil. Theo Fil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magdaleno Andersson in the 63rd minute of play. Pilip Pilipenko kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magdaleno Andersson in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Theo Fil in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theo Fil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Almstedt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Xentrias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xentrias's Theo Fil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Xentrias from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Walter Closet got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Anokh Kafka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Fil having to interfere. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
