The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Kjellkvist got free with Tommy Kahn in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a Black Panthers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 19th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksander Kjellkvist made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stor Katt was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Panthers's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Stor Katt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 56th minute Georg Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Kjellkvist in the 59th minute of play. Lesli Sepúlveda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesli Sepúlveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Malte Apelqvist made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Georg Finnman however managed to control. Black Panthers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
