In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soliera's goalkeeper Adriano Pappalardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Sansone Vanella threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soliera's Anfilogino Bianchini quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 93 minutes into the match, Concetto Maccarone notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
