Nimród Tálas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máté Kőváry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Cihannur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 9th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Kőváry in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ateş Yavuzer hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Nimród Tálas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Nimród Tálas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Vérsárkány SE were awarded a corner. Nimród Tálas went to the cornerflag to take it. Aybars Cihannur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of play. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 32 minutes into the match, Nimród Tálas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If László Salgó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybars Cihannur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Cihannur having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Máté Kőváry to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Tibor Kun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vérsárkány SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 58th minute, Tibor Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tivadar Kereki hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Aybars Cihannur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Csongor Tálas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 73rd minute of play forced Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Aybars Cihannur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Nimród Tálas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Salgó in the 79th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Csaba Miklós hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nimród Tálas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Kőváry came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nimród Tálas in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vérsárkány SE had won after a very even match.
