Fernando Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Gualterio Pio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Universidad Nacional's Fernando Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. Arturo Santikurtz lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Hungary a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antal Valentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Universidad Nacional's Fernando Abarca. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 34th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Fernando Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play.
The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Abarca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 54th minute. After 57 minutes, Antal Valentin made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Club Universidad Nacional's Fernando Abarca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Fernando Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Universidad Nacional's Fernando Abarca got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95th play minutes Major Barna shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Fernando Abarca and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 98th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11.
