In the 45th minute, Ema City's Diego Soñora seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diego Soñora the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ema City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Soñora had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Ema City's Diego Soñora got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portugal reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Selçuk Özgebay made a great header on Ema City's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Ema City's Andre Buncol quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Pimentel, made in the 88th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Felipinho Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bartosz Trzenzalski. That made the score 3-3 after 95 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
