When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sped through Dynamo Kielce's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszek Jarosiewicz. In the 14th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Jarosiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszek Jarosiewicz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Sebastian Deissler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dynamo Kielce getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Szymon Zima hit a great ball. The supporters of Dynamo Kielce booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Sebastian Deissler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 70th minute of play. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 77th minute. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dynamo Kielce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dynamo Kielce.
