Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Egbert Nijveldt a yellow card for diving instead. Kees Mooiweer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ron Aelgoet sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Arnout Reekers threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ron Aelgoet this time. 15 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eddy Stoorms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxim Van den Berghe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Eddy Stoorms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Stoorms having to interfere. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of the match. Eddy Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 30th minute of play. When Wim Wilmes got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eddy Stoorms was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 34th minute of play. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lars Meesters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 36th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Invictus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ron Aelgoet in the 37th minute. Ron Aelgoet made a great header on Invictus FC's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Stoorms was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 44th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Aelgoet in the 45th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emmanuel Hylen came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Invictus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Hylen couldn't finish the play.

With a little luck, Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sean Mallecots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of the match. With his leg Eddy Stoorms managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Emmanuel Hylen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 82 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Invictus FC made a substitution. Edgard Goossens replaced Octaaf Van der Meiren. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Octaaf Van der Meiren hit a great ball. Eddy Stoorms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Invictus FC throughout the match.
