Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Franzik in the 2nd minute of play. Graciano Coutinho's late challenge caught a Grasshoppers Klucze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Caetano Moreira hit a great ball. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Caetano to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Imbor came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Grasshoppers Klucze's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Imbor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play forced Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Tanek Bielejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Bielejewski came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kacper Charamut in the 35th minute. The throw-in from Long Sen Yang in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 40 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Tanek Bielejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Bielejewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damazy Franzik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Franzik in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Damazy Franzik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Imbor in the 72nd minute of play. Hugon Imbor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. In the 87th match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damazy Franzik to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Damazy Franzik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grasshoppers Klucze the free kick. After 94 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. Damazy Franzik scored 5-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grasshoppers Klucze were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
