In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Tudor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Geangu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Damian Silvian got a free kick in the 18th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Geangu in the 20th minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood somewhat misplaced when Augustin Petruț came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Radu Geangu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Psihopel BM-MM- and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes FC Psihopel BM-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Radu Geangu. FC Psihopel BM-MM- were furious when A.J. 苏云 was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Psihopel BM-MM- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! 47 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radu Geangu. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Diculescu to make the kick off. Martin Tudor made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Tudor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Paul Diculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Geangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Geangu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Geangu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Tudor, 1-4. A collision led to FC Psihopel BM-MM- getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Augustin Petruț hit a great ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Damian Silvian got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
