In the 7th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Teo Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmut Lossimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe did a great save. Gaston Toupin's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Toupin helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 15th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Florent Sorlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boros Benedek fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Boros Benedek a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Hungary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Kertzfeld:s goal. Joël Rétière hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Toupin in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helmut Lossimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmut Lossimäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes Fc Kertzfeld's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Antal Valentin sped through Fc Kertzfeld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Helmut Lossimäe. In the 46th minute Teo Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Esiquio in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joël Rétière was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmut Lossimäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helmut Lossimäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 63rd minute. Major Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Helmut Lossimäe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Florent Sorlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Helmut Lossimäe to make any attempt to save it. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Esiquio in the 73rd minute of play. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Helmut Lossimäe could save by the left post. Helmut Lossimäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 82nd minute. Helmut Lossimäe made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fc Kertzfeld made a substitution. Alix Poulain replaced Titouan Levet. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Edgar de Toledo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
