A hard shot 14 in the game by Arnaldo Queirós from a close distance when the talented Flavio Vittori managed to make a qualified save. Italy's players were relieved. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Lagerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 65th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Olayo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Holger Mattsson in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 82nd minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. In the 86th minute of the match, Porziano Marchitelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Holger Mattsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 87th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bolli Bolla went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. When Bolli Bolla fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hummerfiskarna's protests and gave Bolli Bolla a yellow card for diving instead.
