Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Sporting DoutroMundo's Serafim Eanes managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting DoutroMundo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Linus Schwerner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting DoutroMundo's Serafim Eanes did a great save. 20 minutes into the game, Geovânio Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Durval Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting DoutroMundo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Fontoura in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Vasques in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Sporting DoutroMundo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Germany's Frank Sachs to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafim Eanes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Germany's Linus Schwerner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Eanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Durval Fantini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The Sporting DoutroMundo fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Sporting DoutroMundo's Durval Fantini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sporting DoutroMundo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fernando Couto hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting DoutroMundo's Aprígio Vasques. But to his dismay, Aprígio Vasques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Fantini in the 93rd minute of play. Eduardo Fontoura's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontoura helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Sporting DoutroMundo got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontoura. Sporting DoutroMundo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
