Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Helguera in the 10th minute of the match. Olav Graversen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Amadeu Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute of the match. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeu Alvarenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olav Graversen in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Alvarenga saved AKATSUKIS FC from getting behind. Amadeu Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Juan Sobrado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeu Alvarenga. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Juan Sobrado managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKATSUKIS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Sobrado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juan Sobrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Helguera came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amadeu Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paco Helguera was the one to do the kick off. Juan Sobrado scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Carcelén Dragranda in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Amadeu Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Alvarenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of AKATSUKIS FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carcelén Dragranda came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the AKATSUKIS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carcelén Dragranda couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Artechevezuen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
