Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacob Albuquerque got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Jacob Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute, Jacob Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wim Wilmes. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierluigi Buffon. Pierluigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Noel Hargrave. Lluis Companys kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Hargrave didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pierluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluis Companys in the 56th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluis Companys in the 59th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute of the match. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save KaoS Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Lars Meesters might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Meesters ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas was substituted for Jacob Albuquerque. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Lebas in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Noe in the 81st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by KaoS Futbol Club's Narciso Noe. But to his dismay, Narciso Noe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pierluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, KaoS Futbol Club's Zeledon Tabb got a free kick in the 94th minute.
