A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Zekeriya Sarbay struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rei Pelé ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rei Pelé, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Rei Pelé kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rei Pelé in the 73rd minute of play.
