Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Sigfrido Auletta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Grocholski quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Walter White tried to sneak it across the goal line. The La Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Grocholski should have stopped the shot. La Academia's Putra Parios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Porziano Marchitelli in the 95 minute of the game. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
