In the 12th minute, Nimród Szőcs made a precise shot to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of England booed when Cöpacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Nimród Szőcs made a precise shot to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nimród Szőcs in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Nimród Szőcs took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Khalid Kennedy to make any attempt to save it. Cooper Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Genílson Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Kennedy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caelan Hayes in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Nimród Szőcs came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Alvarenga made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Issac Dawson sent off a good shot on target. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nimród Szőcs in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Nimród Szőcs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Leite in the 69th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Vito Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalid Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite got a free kick in the 77th minute. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nimród Szőcs in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Juan Alvarenga in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great ball. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Leite in the 90th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimcho Pisarev in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cöpacabana FC had won after a very even match.
