This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gabriel Ascaso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Aymerick Nadal sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dacian Turlea was slow to take the kick. During this time La mano de D10S's players had a chance to rest. Sebastián Coira made a great header on La mano de D10S's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Spain's goalie and right to Andrés Iniesta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesc Tamari in the 51st minute of the match. Andrés Iniesta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesc Tamari in the 57th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Hautot couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Carles Cherro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güray Orcan was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Merino during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vicente Merino hit a great ball. Many of Spain's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spain may have spent more time on the ball, but La mano de D10S were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
