Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Tesone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nestor Tesone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Santo Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Tesone in the 47th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. It was Cihan Baydar who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Los Laguneros de AT's corner Cihan Baydar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Los Laguneros de AT's Simon Hori got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Tesone went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Nestor Tesone put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 81stth minute of the game Nestor Tesone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's Chris Mergenthaler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Bixintxo in the 91 minute of the game. When Nestor Tesone came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Los Laguneros de AT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Tesone couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Tesone in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Nestor Tesone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Nestor Tesone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Laguneros de AT.
