Florian Siembabs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Henrich Slany to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Gustaw Flis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The The Fighting Mongooses FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Slovakia's performance. The match ended with a win for Slovakia.
