The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Mattsson got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Eric Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Botev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, Jämjö hitters's Dominic Ramjohn made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31stth minute of the game Erik Jilek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jämjö hitters's Fredric Gustafsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Botev in the 32nd minute of play. Jämjö hitters's Bror Lustig suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Botev in the 95th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jämjö hitters had played much better football throughout.
