With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Claris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Unión La Plata getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Unión La Plata's Benito Matxin got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rogelio Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harkaitz Arevalo in the 86th minute of play. Errapel Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Errapel Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Unión La Plata booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errapel Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball.
