Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alemdar Yavuzalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Linus Schwerner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
