Güray Orcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güray Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengiz Aksoy in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jonas Hautot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turkey's Tunaydin Aga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Turkey from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Doruk Kashani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Hautot made a kick off. If Cengiz Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
