The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the game Rito Encina made a throw-in which Seran Turres played forward. Dagoberto Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Thompson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Juan Mondaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Rito Encina in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Chi-Chi Chi. 23 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Baldaia came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Thompson in the 26th minute of the match. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Baldaia in the 29th minute of play. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Baldaia in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Mondaca to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Paulo Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Baldaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Baldaia in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Mondaca got free with Dagoberto Zonta in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ksawery Witkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Baldaia's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s goalkeeper Dagoberto Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mondaca. Alfred Piatek hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ made a substitution. Lucas Menossi replaced Loco Mønster. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ made a substitution. But to his dismay, Kadim Sebil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Many of Magallanes's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Magallanes may have spent more time on the ball, but ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
