Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Lando in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Santamarina FC's Higinio Lando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Alberto Barto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. Alberto Barto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Barto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Croatia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Higinio Lando was slow to take the kick. During this time Santamarina FC's players had a chance to rest. 34 minutes into the game, Maximino Hunfredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Higinio Lando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Gartzea went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Mauzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Francia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bosak in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Ilixo came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gartzea in the 55th minute of the match. Toni Mauzer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Santamarina FC booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvije Santek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damir Pongrac during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Santamarina FC booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position.
