In the 2nd match minute, Harchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebati Çiftçibaşı to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Picanya FC's Naldo Roig got control of the ball when Sebati Çiftçibaşı tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Fidele in the 11th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harchester United's zone, Henric Villaquiran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neil Long came out of the goal and Henric Villaquiran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Louis Lumb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Naldo Roig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Neil Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 21st minute of play. Picanya FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Harchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wawrzyniec Kissel took the corner. The corner led Picanya FC's Ugaitz Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Neil Long despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Picanya FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Harchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wawrzyniec Kissel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Wawrzyniec Kissel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Neil Long quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Neil Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute Louis Lumb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Picanya FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arthur Geneste was slow to take the kick. During this time Harchester United's players had a chance to rest. Picanya FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Louis Lumb scored to the left of an out of position Naldo Roig, making the score, 1-0. Emiliano Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neil Long narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Harchester United booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Bermejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henric Villaquiran to make the kick off. Neil Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Emiliano Fidele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig did a great save. When Harchester United's Emiliano Fidele in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Louis Lumb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Burton in the 88th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Picanya FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Naldo Roig went to the wrong direction when Emiliano Fidele was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Fidele in the 92nd minute of play. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Lumb in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Harchester United got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arthur Geneste ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Arthur Geneste almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig did a great save. After 99 minutes of play, Harchester United's Louis Lumb made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Roig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harchester United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
