But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Lira couldn't finish the play. Araguaia Sport Clube:s Clemente Koehler showed great skill when he stopped Sreten Popovic:s penalty. Murillo Salles made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ademir Lira immediately put the ball in play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Marquez made a kick off. Sreten Popovic struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Clemente Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. In the 56th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladeta Jovic to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Luan Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Araguaia Sport Clube from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Araguaia Sport Clube getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edvaldo Donatello hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Vladeta Jovic. Clemente Koehler had great luck who in the 93rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Sreten Popovic from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Araguaia Sport Clube support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
