Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Magnistar's Cauã Carneiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lee-Paul Te Vrede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Carneiro in the 7th minute of the match. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magnistar's goalie prevented a goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Aírton Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Carneiro in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Loureiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 30 minutes Magnistar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 35th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Egbert Nijveldt fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Egbert Nijveldt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Aílton Loureiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 52nd minute of play forced Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Loureiro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee-Paul Te Vrede in the 59th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aírton Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee-Paul Te Vrede went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aírton Penha quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Magnistar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aírton Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 77th minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 90 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Magnistar's Aílton Loureiro. But to his dismay, Aílton Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 95th minute of play forced Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
