In the 13th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Revheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim. Thomas Revheim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gard Bredesen sent off a good shot on target. Thomas Revheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute. Antal Valentin scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Revheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gard Bredesen in the 36th minute of play. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Major Barna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Revheim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 43rd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. POPODARA F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Vörös Henrik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Revheim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gard Bredesen to make the kick off. If Dimas Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Thomas Revheim to make any attempt to save it. Andres Iniesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Gard Bredesen put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. Thomas Revheim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Balazs Lajos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 67 minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gard Bredesen in the 71st minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gard Bredesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. POPODARA F.C's Tor-Ivar Kalland was substituted for Gard Bredesen. POPODARA F.C's Jack Berland was substituted for Peter Lang. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
