In the 12th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baturhan Eroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Severino Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caetite FC's Baturhan Eroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caetite FC's Baturhan Eroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 22nd minute of play. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baturhan Eroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, Caetite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Baturhan Eroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Atay Arpacıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Severino Mangueira took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Mangueira to make the kick off. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Régis de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Caetite FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Baturhan Eroğlu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Atay Arpacıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Baturhan Eroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Germany's Baturhan Eroğlu threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Holweck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baturhan Eroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atay Arpacıoğlu in the 85th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atay Arpacıoğlu in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Mangueira in the 88th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Caetite FC's protests and gave Joel de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when Caetite FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Frank Sachs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baturhan Eroğlu skillfully saved the ball. Caetite FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
