Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 4th minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute of the game, Vörös Henrik landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Tuan Eubanks's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuan Eubanks helped the player get up and apologised. Tuan Eubanks hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Hyatt having to make a save. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. ACC Mavericks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerio Lopez de Toro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to ACC Mavericks getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sahnoyan Şah hit a great ball. Bob Hyatt made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Hyatt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59 played minutes ACC Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Steve Van Clynenbreugel. When ACC Mavericks's Terry Hinson in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terry Hinson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Bob Hyatt was a little too slow when Antal Valentin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-1. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Nerio Lopez de Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan Eubanks in the 71st minute of play. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Bob Hyatt however easily saved by the left post. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Steve Van Clynenbreugel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
