Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Pacifico in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florentino Nabar who took care of the corner kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Claudiu Niculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chimborazo A.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 31st minute of the match, Claudiu Niculescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Marcos Bizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes Chimborazo A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Urtungo. Jeremias Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute of play forced Chimborazo A.F.C's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Ledesma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 64 minutes, Malte Schiele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Chimborazo A.F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Evelio Dunixi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremias Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jeremias Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Esteve Urtungo, made in the 79th minute of the game. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Claudiu Niculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimborazo A.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Niculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremias Ledesma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Chimborazo A.F.C getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ernesto Pacifico hit a great ball. Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chimborazo A.F.C from getting a goal against them. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Chimborazo A.F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
