Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. 8 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Kielstedt came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. Tomas Kielstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 18th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tomas Kielstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Wahlström. Emil Wahlström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Kielstedt in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Emil Wahlström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Åhman was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Hogans Heroes got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bright Morningstar ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th minute, Major Barna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Wahlström. The goal made the score 1-4. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Wahlström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Wahlström. That made the score 1-5 after 64 minutes of play. Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Major Barna 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. 72 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 76th minute of play. Sven-Oskar Åhman scored 2-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Wahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute. Emil Wahlström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-8 in the 86 minute of play. Hungary played a much better game than Hogans Heroes and deserved their victory. The Hogans Heroes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
