Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Lopatnicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 16 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Hamberg came free, but Dumitru Lopatnicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Petrică Todoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mattias Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Eliasson couldn't finish the play. John Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When AIF's Mattias Eliasson in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ciufulici's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, AIF's Ingmar Brask got control of the ball when Gigel Gârleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Nae Bitănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AIF's Mattias Eliasson got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes, Octav Bute mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ciufulici and the AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Bute to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, FC ciufulici's Ingmar Brask threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sergiu Târcă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, Sergiu Târcă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Brask was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Bitănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingmar Brask showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Târcă in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Gârleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, AIF's Gustaf Låsberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 82nd minute, Ştefan Nastac made a precise shot to the right of Ingmar Brask. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Sergiu Târcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC ciufulici fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when FC ciufulici's Nae Bitănescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC ciufulici's Octav Bute got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Octav Bute off the ground. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Octav Bute hit a great ball. Dumitru Lopatnicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Eliasson in the 94th minute of the match. AIF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
