Dumitru Lopatnicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Hellsing went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Harry Hellsing took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Lopatnicu. Dumitru Lopatnicu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. FC ciufulici's Dumitru Lopatnicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Kvarnström in the 24th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Nae Bitănescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Georg Åkerberg. Nae Bitănescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Gigel Gârleanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Georg Åkerberg made a huge save. When Kristoffer Deckberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored StraX Xenon FC's protests and gave Kristoffer Deckberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when StraX Xenon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Deckberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Hellsing to strike the kick off in the second half. Dumitru Lopatnicu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Per Kvarnström. 54 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Hellsing came free, but Dumitru Lopatnicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Lopatnicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 67 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Măcrineanu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Vinström got free with Dumitru Lopatnicu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kennet Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Lopatnicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Kvarnström in the 73rd minute. Georg Åkerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Bitănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Dumitru Lopatnicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Kvarnström in the 79th minute of play.
