NAPOLI's Frank Carlucci got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Arrigo Berardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Carlucci struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Manole Tăcutu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.S.C. NAPOLI. Manole Tăcutu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Carlucci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Frank Carluccis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Manole Tăcutu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manole Tăcutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Carlucci in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Cezar Encioiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Tăcutu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by S.S.C. NAPOLI's Frank Carlucci. But to his dismay, Frank Carlucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Victor Arseanu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Carlucci in the 37th minute of play. If Victor Arseanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Carlucci got free with Manole Tăcutu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Arseanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fulvio Patricelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Berardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Arseanu came free, but Fulvio Patricelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 61 in the game by Victor Arseanu from a close distance when the talented Fulvio Patricelli managed to make a qualified save. S.S.C. NAPOLI's players were relieved. In the 64th minute, Frank Carlucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.S.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Riccardi in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manole Tăcutu saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Carlucci came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
