The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mysarnas BK booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Ståhlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Siöman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Fogel. AIF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Edwin Siöman sped through AIF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Fogel. Edwin Siöman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, William Fogel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Apelquist struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. William Fogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mysarnas BK. Emanuel Larsfält hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Viktor Pilgren fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIF's protests and gave Viktor Pilgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Gert Kjellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Mysarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Nyberg. Edwin Siömans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got William Fogel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tomas Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mysarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Apelquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Fogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mysarnas BK's Edwin Siöman got a free kick in the 37th minute. Allan Helberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but William Fogel made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, Emanuel Larsfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mysarnas BK the free kick. After 47 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Larsfält. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Siöman to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Siöman came free, but William Fogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AIF's Gert Kjellbom got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Edwin Siöman made a precise shot to the right of William Fogel. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Edwin Siöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mysarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Siöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Fogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Hamberg in the 77th minute of play forced Mysarnas BK's goalkeeper Roger Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Torbjörn Bållström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Fogel came out of the goal and Torbjörn Bållström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mysarnas BK's Kurt Holmberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. If Torbjörn Bållström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. William Fogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Siöman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mysarnas BK had won after a very even match.
