After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo David Mardel's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Leguizamón came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo David Mardel's goalkeeper Gogo Leguizamón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Gustaaf Groeneveldt made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo David Mardel's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Gogo Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mario Toli hit a great ball. Deportivo David Mardel's Marcelo Polino was substituted for 曾诚枫. Deportivo David Mardel's Fabian Nikola was substituted for Julio Poncio. Mario Toli kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gogo Leguizamón made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 79th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Polino in the 93rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
