Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bodo Glimbæk to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fridtjof Ferstad in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 11th minute of the match. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Alberigo Mancini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Peng Song Ting's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 29th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play. Fridtjof Ferstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daustad's attentive Bodo Glimbæk managed to snatch the ball when Szekeres Tamas made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Fridtjof Ferstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fridtjof Ferstad ran back to his position shaking his head. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alberigo Mancini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fridtjof Ferstad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fridtjof Ferstad took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fridtjof Ferstad in the 58th minute of play. Daustad's Fridtjof Ferstad got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Jo Øverås. Daustad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fridtjof Ferstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Fridtjof Ferstad came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Major Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jo Øverås made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 80th minute. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fridtjof Ferstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Daustad could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
