In the 21st minute of the match Camillo Moriggi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Millan skillfully saved the ball. Silvio Millan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Yannick Bartz. But to his dismay, Yannick Bartz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When FC Lëtzebuerg's Yannick Bartz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jorge Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Isaias Sazon. But to his dismay, Isaias Sazon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Lëtzebuerg were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vahur Haas made a kick off. After some careless play in the ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ defense, Vahur Haas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Millan. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Millan should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Yannick Bartz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvio Millan. The goal made the score 1-4. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Enrique Peña was substituted for Yuan Hong Chen. FC Lëtzebuerg's Jorge Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Crouch in the 68th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goal looked a bit too open when Yannick Bartz came free, but Silvio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Balesio Zabalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Moriggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Millan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Miguel Sanches sent off a good shot on target. German Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ booed when FC Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Marco Crouch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Lëtzebuerg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
